Aamil Sulaiman is a Malaysian born cellist who studied at Indiana University Bloomington and holds two degrees in music; A Bachelors of Music from Western Illinois University and a Masters in Music from the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK). As a teacher and university lecturer, Mr. A has taught at UTK, University International Technology Mara (UiTM), the International College of Music, and for a brief period as the Head of Music for Tenby International Schools. His popular music performance career highlights, includes but is not limited to, playing with Malaysian artists and bands such as SEARCH as a member of the cello band Paladin, touring with Anuar Zain in Singapore, and rocking out on stage with the band Kansas on their MidWest tour. Performing Baroque and Classical operas with the Lauziter Somer Opera Company based in Dresden Germany, performing with the Cerita Music Quartet in South East Asia, and performing with the Selangor Symphony Orchestra.

Despite all of his personal achievements earned with dedication and hard work, the most meaningful professional achievements come from his students. He is proud to have students earn scholarships to attend Young Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore and Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. The opportunity to share and foster young minds to grow in a professional and personal manner are the greatest gifts an educator can receive.
