Formally trained as a violinist as a child, Wan Fadzil Adlan grew up with a fascination for music instruments. Over the years he picked up several instruments learning the piano, recorder before moving on to the guitar and saxophone.
He craves the rush of performing in a group, frequently performing with friends, in addition to traveling to shows with his school band. He performed with the fledgling National Youth Symphony Orchestra at their Royal Command Performance, and more recently, performed with the University Malaya Symphony Orchestra at the Golden Jubilee of the Malaysian Special Olympics.
As a retirement gift, he chose to take up a new instrument, the bass guitar before switching to an electric upright, holding up the rhythm section of the PJE.
